Welcome and a giveaway!

We are so excited to announce that Breastmilk for Preemies is starting a blog! When I first had the idea for a facebook group several months ago, I had no idea how badly it was needed! Within the first day, we had well over 100 followers! I was amazed! We get lots of questions and get to share in the beauty of other preemie families...it's an honor that people will share their preemies and families with us! 


Brittany and I talked about how we could expand and reach more people. We want to reach all the preemie mamas we can and help out in everyway that we can so we decided to start a blog. While the main purpose of our facebook group is support for mamas who want to, wish they had, are or did provide breastmilk for their preemies, this blog will be more then that. It will obviously be very centered on breastmilk for preemies, but it will also be about preemies in general. We would love to have guest posts from other preemie families, we'll share tips, articles, opinions etc.

*You/The mama must be pumping or breastfeeding and (one of the following):

• Expecting a preemie(s) (or)
• Currently in the NICU with your preemie(s) (or)
• Just brought your preemie(s) home within the last 30 days.

You may enter yourself to win or nominate another preemie mama/preemie mama to be. You may nominate up to 3 different mamas, but may only enter for yourself once. The giveaway will end on Tuesday October 11, 2011 and the winner will be drawn on Wednesday October 12, 2011. Because some of the items will be coming from other sources, you will receive different packages at different times.
